Mary Beth Freet
FOUNDER & CO-CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Mary Beth is an artist, entrepreneur, and visionary creative leader. She is the founder of two inspiring companies—Pink Light Studio and The HUE-niverse brand—and brings over 30 years of experience in the print and pattern industry. Throughout her career, Mary Beth has sold thousands of her own designs to major retailers and has become known for her intuitive ability to track emerging trends and guide her team in transforming them into vibrant, commercial artwork for products of all kinds. With a deep love for pattern, design, and color, Mary Beth is passionate about creating artwork that brings joy, positivity, and brightness into the world. She feels incredibly grateful to work alongside a talented team of women artists, collaborators, and clients who share her vision. Together, their work has made a powerful impact—generating over $150 million in retail sales over the past 16 years. When she’s not designing or leading her team, you’ll often find Mary Beth practicing yoga or creating expressive ceramic sculptures, always finding new ways to connect with creativity and inspiration.
Katie Yates Isett
ART LICENSING AGENT & CO-CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Katie is an artist and University of Texas graduate based in sunny Los Angeles. She received her BFA in Studio Art with a Business minor in 2018, and began her career in the art licensing world in 2019. Katie is passionate about art, and loves the opportunity to connect with artists worldwide through Pink Light. Katie loves to explore LA with her wife and goldendoodle, travel the world, make art in her home studio, and research trends in the marketplace!

Peili Huang
CONTENT & MARKETING CURATOR
Peili is an illustrator based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She became a member of the Pink Light Team after getting her MFA degree from the Academy of Art University in 2021. Peili assists Mary Beth and Katie with trend boards and social media content creation. She gets tremendous inspiration from the Pink Light Artists, and loves being part of the team! She is a bookworm and animal lover, and lives with her husband, daughter and two cats. She is the most creative homo-sapien in their home so far.
Amanda Houston
GROWTH LEAD & ARTIST
Amanda is an Illustrator and Surface Designer, and has been represented by Pink Light Studio since 2020. She is a multi-passionate creative with a BA in Communication and an MA in Leadership from Vanguard University. She joined the team as the Growth Lead in 2024, and is excited to connect more clients with the incredible artists at Pink Light. Amanda lives in Central California with her husband and two kids. In her free time, she enjoys taking nature walks, gardening, reading fiction, and family coffee dates.
